363d ISR Wing hosts Hampton High School students for JB Langley-Eustis STEM Day

Students from Hampton High School learn about drones during the STEM Day event, May 5, 2023 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. The 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing hosted these students to attend the STEM Day and watch the aerial performance for the Air Power Over Hampton Roads Open House featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, F-22 Demo Team and many more. Students were able to visit more than 30 STEM exhibitors, enhancing their exploration into the worlds of science, technology, engineering, and math. This exposure is critical in fostering curiosity, enhancing creativity, and encouraging critical thinking. Some of those exhibits included Virginia Air & Space Center, Mad Science of Hampton Roads, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Civil Air Patrol, NASA eClips and JBLE Youth STEM Trailer. This visit served as a Project Quesada engagement, an Air Combat Command-led program designed to attract and recruit talented students seeking careers in aviation, science, technology, engineering, and math to develop future aviators and leaders.
