The Department of Defense’s Space Test Program Satellite 6, or STPSat-6, is captured via long exposure after it blasted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station's Space Launch Complex-41 at 5:19 a.m., Dec. 7, 2021 aboard an Atlas V rocket. The satellite will be used to advance warfighting capabilities in the areas of nuclear detonation detection, space domain awareness, and communication.
