Maj. Nelson “AV” Avilesfigueroa, 4th Communications Squadron commander, presents Airman 1st Class Xiaoyang Wu, 4th CS assistant administrator, with an Airman of the Quarter award Oct. 23, 2014, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. AV inspired Wu to earn a computer science degree and go to Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC). Now 1st Lt. Xiaoyang Wu, is a Joint Mission Operations Center watch officer for the 367th Cyberspace Operations Squadron, at JBSA-Lackland, Texas.
