16th Air Force member stays resilient through kidney disease

Charles Parsons, 16th Air Force Management and Program Analysist, stands in front of 16th Air Force Headquarters, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Nov. 27, 2024. Parsons suffers from polycystic kidney disease, an inherited disorder where cyst clusters develop in the kidneys, causing them to expand and lose function over time. He is on dialysis and continues to lean on support from medical staff, the chaplain team, and community. (U.S. Air Force photo by Matthew McGovern)
