Offutt Air Force Base hosted the Defenders of Freedom Air & Space Show 2026 on Aug. 8-9, 2026. It served as a free, public open house to foster strong community relations and express appreciation to the local Greater-Omaha community. The event highlighted the historic evolution of military aviation, bridging the gap between legacy heritage platforms and modern combat capabilities to preserve and share military history.
