Mr. JAY ARAGON Mr. Jay Aragon is the Technical Director and Senior Civilian for the 688th Cyberspace Wing, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. In this capacity, he assists the Commander who leads over 3,300 Total Force Airmen across four groups with 26 units at 15 locations worldwide. Mr. Aragon provides smart technical guidance, objectives, and concepts to better enable the 688th Dominators to engineer, build, operate, secure, defend, and extend classified and unclassified networks with cyberspace weapon systems, engineering solutions, and expeditionary capabilities. He is also the senior advocate to the Commander for the Wing’s civilian workforce responsible for ensuring fair and equal opportunities across the Wing. Mr. Aragon entered federal civilian service in 1986 as an Air Force PALACE Acquire management intern. He has held leadership positions in various functional areas at base, group, wing, major command, joint, Air Force Secretariat, and combatant command levels. Mr. Aragon is a graduate of the Department of Defense and Air Force civilian leadership programs, and is a Certified Information Security Manager.
