Colonel Catherine A. Gambold

Col Catherine A. Gambold is the Commander, 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. She leads the Air Force's content dominant, all-source analysis and full spectrum targeting enterprises for Combined Forces Air Component Commanders worldwide and airborne ISR for sensitive joint special operations globally.

Col Gambold graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 1998 and was commissioned through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. Previously, she was the Deputy Director for Intelligence at Air Comat Command where she supported the Director to advocate for intelligence policy and weapons system requirements to enable combat ready Airmen. She is a graduate of the National War College, Ft. McNair, Washington and previously served as the Executive Officer to the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Col Gambold is a career intelligence officer who served in a variety of operation units, staff positions and commanded the 547th Intelligence Squadron. She also was a MQ-1B S Standardization Flight Evaluation Examiner (SEFE) qualified Sensor Operator with over 500 training and combat support hours.
