Ms. Corey Hinderstein (left), the Department of Energy’s Deputy Administrator for Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation, discusses her role as the nonproliferation expert in arms control policy development with Dr. Theresa Watson, deputy chief scientist for the Air Force Technical Applications Center, during the 2024 Women in Science and Engineering Symposium March 12. The nuclear treaty monitoring center hosts the symposium annually to highlight and bring attention to the value that gender diversity brings to the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics workforce.
