AFTAC 2024 Wall of Honor Induction Ceremony

Retired Lt. Col. Lisa Shoemaker gives a thumb’s up after seeing her former boss’ name displayed on the Air Force Technical Applications Center’s Wall of Honor. Deborah Ward, AFTAC’s former Director of Plans and Programs, was selected for induction based on her “immeasurable impact and profound contributions” to the center’s global nuclear treaty monitoring mission. Shoemaker accepted the award on Ward’s behalf, who wasn’t able to attend the ceremony that was held May 16, 2024 at Patrick Space Force Base, Fla. (U.S. Air Force photo by Matthew S. Jurgens)
