659th ISRG hosts enlisted to officer brief

U.S. Air Force 2nd Lt. Daniel Leitzinger, an information operations officer assigned to Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida, briefs Airmen from the 659th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group, about commissioning through the U.S. Air Force Academy, Jan. 26, 2023, at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. Leitzinger, a prior enlisted member and 659th ISRG alumni, shared his personal experiences from the academy’s Basic Cadet Training program. The 659th ISRG hosted the event, which informed Airmen about how to commission through the U.S. Air Force Academy. The U.S. Air Force offers enlisted members various paths to commission as an officer through programs such as the Academy, Leader Encouraging Airmen Development, and Officer Training School.
