Talon Shield begins
55th Wing

On July 3, an RC-135V/W Rivet Joint landed at RAAF Edinburgh for Talon Shield, an exercise for in which the 55th Wing rapidly deployed forces using the Deployable Combat Wing force presentation model. The exercise, led by Air Combat Command, will reinforce the U.S. Air Force’s commitment to readiness and global security.
