Colonel Christopher G. Gibbs

Col Christopher G. Gibbs is the Deputy Commander, 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He assists the Wing Commander in leading the Air Force’s content dominant, all-source analysis and full spectrum targeting enterprises for Combined Forces Air Component Commanders worldwide and airborne ISR for sensitive joint special operations globally.

Col Gibbs entered the Air Force in May 2001 through the US Air Force Academy. He completed intelligence officer training in May 2001, and since then has held a variety of positions related to signals intelligence, unit-level intelligence, target development, and support to special operations forces.

Prior to his current position, the Col Gibbs was the Director of Intelligence, US Special Operations Command – Korea, US Army Garrison Humphreys, Republic of Korea, where he planned and led joint and combined SOF-specific intelligence collection, analysis, production, and dissemination in support of US and ROK special operations during Armistice and contingency operations.
