The 363d Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing is proud to share “Stories of Resilience – Col Mack Curry.”

This video is part of a series featuring Airmen, their stories, and reflections on the journey that brought them to where they are today. In this installment, Col Mack “Shac” Curry, Deputy Director for Targeting, Joint Staff Directorate for Intelligence (and former Commander, 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group) reflects on his experience growing up and serving as an African American, his family’s legacy of service, and raising children during times of significant racial tensions. Col Curry’s message offers hope and suggestions for how we can change our service culture and eliminate the negative effects of racism.

We invite you to watch Col Curry’s story of resilience and reflect on your own experiences. As Col Curry suggests, “Let’s talk, let’s discuss our perspectives, and listen. More important than anything else, we have to listen to each other.”
