Beginning at midnight Jan. 9, all JBSA gates will be enforcing a 100 percent Department of Defense ID card check for every person in the vehicle ages 17 and older.

In order to enter JBSA locations, visitors are required to have authorized access credentials. This includes: all military (active, Guard and Reserve), family members, civilians, contractors, Veteran Health ID Card (VHIC) holders, retirees, and all others with existing valid visitor passes.

Additionally, commercial vendors and delivery vehicles will continue to have access through the normal procedures.

Visitors requesting access to conduct official government business at a government facility must have a sponsor-completed and commander-signed “HPCON C Unescorted Access Request form” validating their on-installation business.

Visitors requesting access due to extenuating family situations must also follow this process. Once signed, the sponsor is to email the completed form from their official government email address to their respective Visitor Control Center email address listed at the bottom of the form.

Due to decreased gate demand and to protect personnel in HPCON CHARLIE, some adjustments will be made to gate hours and operations.  We ask that you allow extra time when entering JBSA installations. Gate info and the HPCON C visitor request form can be found at https://www.jbsa.mil/Gate-Hours/.

JBSA personnel should continue to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and implement public health recommendations, which include social distancing, wearing face masks, practicing good hand washing and taking appropriate actions if feeling sick.
