Twenty-six years ago, on a muggy August afternoon, in a Montgomery, Alabama MPS room, standing shoulder to shoulder with my sisters and brothers in arms I raised my right hand and I swore a sacred oath.

I swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

I did this so we may form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and to our prosperity.

To all of you who have a worn the same sacred oath, thank you.

I encourage you to read review and reflect upon the words in the constitution that which you have sworn to uphold and defend.
Thank you for the service to your country and for our future.
